Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, State Bank of India, Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites Online applications from Indian citizens for appointment of 6113 Clerical Cadre posts in State Bank of India Associate Banks (State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Suarashtra, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Indore, State Bank of Patiala etc.) upto 01/11/2010.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.10.2010) :
Educational Qualification
i) Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) or equivalent qualification thereof with a minimum of 60% marks (55% SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS)
OR
ii) Diploma Course passed after 10th Standard with a minimum of 60% marks (55% SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS), provided;
(a) Diploma course passed must be a full time course (Diploma course through correspondence are not eligible) with a minimum of two years duration
(b) The Diploma course should be recognized / approved by the State Board of Technical Education of the concerned State.
OR
iii) A degree (Graduation level) from recognized university with a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS)

Probation period : Minimum period of 6 months. Before the probation period comes to an end, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of these employees whose performance fails to meet Bank’s expectation, may be extended.
